Welcome to my life. In my heart there are many hidden places. It is all filled with very many faces. If you visit there you will see. A special place I have saved for thee. I see your suffering and share your pain. I certainly wish we were well again. I know and feel what you go through. Because I have gone to that place too. It is not for us to question why? Many a tear we will cry. We suffer some days more than the rest. We try to show others our very best. We don't want sympathy. Not from our friends or family. We just need them to understand. What we have to try to withstand. We no longer can do what we've done before. Everything now for us has changed once more. Yes, we are a little depressed and sad. Remembering, we miss what we had. We have had to give up many things we enjoyed. Now we are among the list of unemployed. It takes away our independence and cheer. That we enjoyed in our yesteryear.

Im back

So last night at around 1 am, after I watched my first episode of Law and Order ( since I'm looking into law school, I watch LAW & ORDER, i know thats dumb) I went to my xanga site for no apparent reason and I looked through all my previous entries. It goes back as far as the 8th grade. I suddenly feel so nostalgic, it reminded me a lot of how things used to be, and how it is no more. Whether it is for the better or worse, we'll just have to wait. But wow, I am so glad i looked through it. Some entries made me want to laugh, otheres made me just feel so cheesy while i was a kid. The entries where i posted rap songs that marty made, to entries where I randomly posted entire entries of my conversation with my swan, and oh yea, I accused a certain someone on Xanga of vandalizing school property. Those were the good old days where you can write about anything you want. Now I am in college, and everything is perhaps more complicated. We're all much more sophisticated, with much stronger opinions on things. At least I do. I don't look at the world like the way I use to. Today in my IR-305 class, I really wanted to raise my hand and get invovled in my class. Well I did raise my hand, but the dicussion leader never picked on me. But what i realize is that EVERYBODY ELSE is also raising their hands, they all have a opinion, so sophisticated and well thought out of. I feel like I lack those "intellectual" ability to make arguments in such small amount of time. The teacher can basically say, Give your opinion on XYZ, and then everybody will have shit load of things to say, and I'm still there aksing what da hell she's talking about.
I am so behind in terms of this "intellectual" thing, whatever you call it.
Oh yea, also, I am kinda missing home. I've never missed home before to be honest. Never. Now i kinda do since i know I won't be back home until Thanksgiving. School is really settled into my brain now, and I'm feeling the pressure. I got a paper due on thursday, another on monday, and a midterm on tuesday. And oh yea, these are by no means short easy papers. So fuck.
I also realize I suck at social things now. When I am focused on school work, I totally forget theres a world outside of me. I am so concentrated on my thing that i forget to be social and just end up being a total nerd. I lose my social skills. So this balance between having social life and good academic life, is really not my thing. I've never been good with it. If you know me well, you should know.
Its funny how several people ask me if I want a relationship at this point in my life. I guess this whole "relationship" gf thing has always floated around my head, but I never take these feelings seriously. Its not that I don't want a relationship, its more like I really don't feel anyone is worth the pain of liking. Plus, I'm like reading my stupid IR homework 24/7, I really got no time to like people. I suck, I know.
I been thinking a lot about law school latley. Maybe its cuz of the name  "law school", really I can get materialistic at times, or maybe because I really am into this "argumentative debative no right or wrong" stuff. I guess if you control the argument, you make the rules. And thats what I'm going for. But hey, if I want to go anywhere decent, Imma have to score a pretty decent score. And honestly, I don't know shit about law. So these are just blind ambition.
I'm also missing my UCSC friends. You know the shitty part about transferring to another school is that you sorta loose the close network of friends you've made at your previous schools. My friends at UCSC, alex alex and dave were my comfort zone. They accepted me and my ideas. We were a close pack of friends who stuck together, hell I was gonna live with them. And then i went to USC. Now I have to make new friends. Well, making new friends isn't that bad. Its just it makes me think, how long will it take me to find new genuine lasting friendships I found before? I mean it took years to get really good friends in high school. Friends that i call real friends today, took years , trial and error, testing and such, before I call someone a genuine worthwhile friend. I guess I'm a lil impatient. I want to get back into the game as I was in high school. But college is so much more bigger 36,000 students here at USC. So many talented people and I feel like a grain of salt. Little and insignificant. Hey, don't we all want to feel important from time to time?
Anyways, I need to get back to my paper on economic justice. My argument for economic justice in my paper is that Justice is only done when government prevent overregulation and trade barriers from hampering free trade. well yea, i don't even know if i agree with this competley, but i am feeling really stressed about this essay and this is the best i can go with.

I really hope USC could just send me that rejection letter instead of making me wait. You've tortured me for a year.

Wednesday, April 30, 2008

I am so going to get rejected. This is for reals. Sometimes, I rather not know. Life would be a lot easier if I didn't know anything.
I hope I get my call back.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't, so you might as well do it.

I think I forgot how to feel.

This weekend was ridiculous. Saturday, I was in the library the entire day, at night, I went out to dinner with my parents. They happen to be in Santa Cruz, I had nothing better to do. After I got bak from dinner, decided to head to the 24 hour dance with a few people at Porter. Was there till 2 and headed back. Sunday, I worked on my project all day, and monday, I kept working on that project and read Frank's book for core. This is so hard. I don't have a life. So sad. I guess I don't mind sacrificing but after a while I feel that I kinda lost my personality. Just work work work work. And hopefully, come June, something magical can happen. Got like a 8 page essay due, 10 page journal due, internship applications due. life is ridiculous. ha0luvzu
